On June 18, 2006, My Father, George Lund lost his battle for life against cancer. He was an inspiration to me and my family and was truly the best father anyone could have wanted. He was the driving force for my success as a Salon Professional. He practiced Cosmetology for over 43 years, being one of the first male hairstylist entrepreneurs in San Diego. He owned multiple salons during his career, George's Hair Designs, while retiring in 1997.

| George raised three children, provided well for them with honor and integrity. His word was his bond. He enjoyed science fiction, reading and learning. He rejected censorship and always allowed his children to explore and express themselves freely. |
| He was a veteran of the Korean War and received many medals for his valor and actions during the conflict. We all will miss him greatly. He is survived by his children, grandchildren and many family and friends. |
